hello!

Well, getting ready to take on Apache. This should be a lot of fun.

First, anyone recommend some good web sites to read up on Apache, besides www.apache.org? :) Also, recommenced books?

I'm starting new here, from scratch.

Let me start with this:

Lets say I have a cgi script that I want to access.
The cgi script is currently being held in /home/jwilliams/pub

I would have to setup a virtual host of some sort?
Can someone show me a few examples of a apache configs?

Thanks everyone.

N/M. I figured it out.

Anyone have any books or sites they suggest for grasping apache?

Thanks.

Well the O'Reilly books are usually a good reference. I have the Apache definitative guide and another is "Linux Apache Web Server Administration" this one is a little out of date now, but still a good read.
I usually goto a Barnes and Nobles grab some Java and start reading the books a little before making a decision. Hope this helps, if not the coffee can't hurt!
