Just out of curiosity, anyone here setup a Jabber server?
I'm not sure why, but management is thinking of putting up a internal only jabber server. Personally, I think this is stupid. I really dont see the need. We are not that BIG yet. Why not send a email, or even use the phone?

Enough of my bickering.

Anyway, I noticed FreeBSD has it in the ports tree and was thinking of giving it a go.

Anyone here used it and can you tell me your experiences with it? Good? Bad?

you could always use the windows messanger service..
