I was wondering what the big differences are when choosing a file system for a partition. Is the freebsd-fs good to use or should I use Linux fs?

Choose the freebsd default if thats what you are installing. Linux binaries will still run great.

Good to hear, I did that for all my partitions, just wanted to make sure that was a good idea.
