Has anyone tried the GATOS project with any multimedia video software on any ATI AIW? I have a spare ATI AIW Raedon 7500, and have been thinking about throwing it into the FreeBSD server/workstation. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

It seems like it would me trouble than it's worth to get TV in going on this. All the TV apps in the ports are for various other drivers, and the GATOS TV/Input app has various other dependencies like ALSA, and Video4Linux. I guess one could do this via Linux Emulation, but I question it's true ability.

Ok. there is some support for FreeBSD with GATOS. Looks like you can use xawtv, and avview with Xvideo support to get it going.
