Here's a cute thing: you can help test a tiny distribution of FreeSBIE that's designed to boot from a small (64M tested) USB flash drive (aka USB pen).

I know the freesbie port has miniBSD in a subdirectory. I played around some with this and made a small (~14mb) install but didn't get my usb pen drive going. I think it was a bios issue on the motherboard I was testing with.

This looks like a cool thing. Nice post.

Looks interesting, Im looking for a BSD to boot off a FAT partion. I doubt Ill find it =(
