I'm helping a friend set up an old Prosignia Compaq server. He'll be using it as a firewall/gateway, most likely as mail server, and spend lots of time learning how to play with it on the Net. It may include some webpage server use. He will be about the only user, as far as I know. He wants FreeBSD 4.10 for now. The server box has a Pentium 150Mhz, 64MB RAM (for now), and 4 SCSI drives, each about 3 or 4 GB. Since I cannot comprehend Vinum, could someone suggest a layout that's better than this?

da0 -- / and 128MB swap
da1 -- /usr
da2 -- /home
da3 -- /var and 512MB swap

He's already been through one attempt with 4.9, and found he needed the extra swap just for building world, etc.
