Gnurt (an IRC user that's been hanging in #screamingelectron lately) was asking how to monitor bandwidth usage with pf since his connection is billed by actual bandwidth usage. He pointed out the following article that he found and I thought it was interesting enough to pass along.
Monitoring Net Traffic with OpenBSD's Packet Filter (http://www.samag.com/documents/s=9053/sam0403j/0403j.htm)
I suprised no one has put a port together to acomplish this and piped the data to their favorite monitoring/graphing app. I recently upgraded my firewall to the latest 3.6-stable. I think I'll add some more labels and play around since I'm still tweaking on it anyway. :icon_smil
