Mind blank time...why am I getting this?
Mar 23 12:17:53 slippery imapd: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: No such file or directory
Mar 23 12:17:53 slippery imapd: LOGIN FAILED, user=pete, ip=[127.0.0.1]
Mar 23 12:17:53 slippery imapd: authentication error: No such file or directory
What file or dir is it looking for. I see all that I am used to.

Ive done a bit of googling on this, but I know nothing about imapd or authdaemon. From what I read, youre getting an error that suggests that authdaemon isnt being properly started, and when imapd tries to call it, it gives that error. Could you check to see if authdaemon is running, and if it isnt start it and try again? maybe look for some authdaemon logs?
Hope this helps, but Im way out of my element.

Resolved:
I had to uninstall Courier-Authlib for some reason. Take a peek in UPDATING if you have troubles, there is mention of it there. Something certainly isnt right but when I reinstall Authlib, I was good.
