Hello,
I upgraded gtk from 2.4 to 2.6.7, on freeBSD 5.3. After the upgrade, I was
unable to start Xorg, since it said it was missing the gtk/gdk .400 libraries.
I looked in the /usr/X11R6/lib, and these files were changed to .600. So I made ln -s from .600 to .400, and XOrg started working again. However, now gnome wont start (gnome-session), nor firefox, nor anything else that requries gtk, it seems. The following is the error message that i get for all these programs:
Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_set_title: assertion `title != NULL' failed
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling gtk, and Xorg libraries, still it is the
same result. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thank you.
