Back with some questions.

I know a few people here are fond of DJBDNS over BIND. I was curious if anyone here is running it on FreeBSD, and if so, can you tell me how you installed it? I know you need to install:

-DJBDNS
-daemontools
-ucsip-tcp

My main question is in regards to the service directory that needs to be created, either in /service or in /var/service. I'm having a little trouble getting that part working correctly.

Much thanks.

You can always use ddclient. It has DJBDNS support along with other various DDNS service sites. Sounds like it would be a lot easier to setup as well.
