I was thinking about rebuilding my FDSB fileserver using concantenated disks. I am purchasing a couple of 30GB HD's that I want to use for /home storage. I have a two more HD's, a 20GB and 9GB, that I will use for tar back up and the operating system, respectively. Does anyone have any thoughts on concantenating the two 30GB disks...pro's, con's, RISKS, and a possibly a pointer to a good howto?

I have a concantenated disk question.


Has anyone gotten concantenated disks to work with anything but an ileave of 1 in OpenBSD 3.1?

I have tried every divisible number of the total byte size of the concantenated volume, and I can only get an ileave of 1 to work.


This surely can't be the optimal setting can it?

Ummmm, so I guess no one has used this feature yet. Anyone have any ideas at all?
