i need to setup a mail gateway by using qmail, it work as a anti-spam, anti-virus and a backup mail server while the primary mail server down. Is there any document for this setup? Thanks.

The best places to look for that sort of thing would be http://qmail.org/top.html as well as Dave Sill's Life With Qmail site http://www.lifewithqmail.org/.

I started off using qmail but when I changed to OpenBSD, I switched to postfix (which I love). If you search the forums here, you'll probably find a post from me asking about the qmail port for OpenBSD. From this you will find out that Qmail was dropped from OpenBSD. You didn't state which *BSD you were using, so I'm just assuming Open.

Google is usually a good bet too for finding docs...
