Hi,

I get ports errors when installing FreeBSD. I have no way to post my errors unless i can print the screen and then go back into Vista and post the errors? Is that possible? It says something about getty errors. Maybe it's me because i am clueless when it comes to, any BSD, any Unix, any Linux or anything else.

Are you are installing on a virtual machine?

The ports may error from time to time on install, but usually when it can't retrieve the ports tree from the server, or the hard drive isn't initialized. Aside from all of that, next time you install, can you write down the first error? Also, try a base install next time, without anything extra at all.
