OMFG! That rocks dude! Man, we gotta get more posts like this in here, I may be able to use this for my server quite well dude! Thanks!
One thing though, when I run prog -p 123 and telnet into it, if I do a ^D from the server side the server closes itself and kills the connection, but I also believe it's still binded to that port (may be wrong though, stupid brain).
