OK, I did something extremely stupid. I accidentley deleted my cgi-bin shortcut and cgi-bin-dist directory. How do I go about getting that shortcut and directory back?? I tried to copy it off one of my friends boxes but it didn't work when I tried to access my web page. Any thoughts......?

You will have to manully add it into your httpd.conf file. One alternate to editing would be Webmin. Good little tool for loads of servers. You can click a few links, and then type the directories you want back in your conf file, and click apply. Makes it easy for fast fixes.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying. I didn't delete anyting out of my httpd.conf file. I deleted the cgi stuff out of /usr/local/www/.

You should try using the backup again. Maybe reset the CGI module, and set the permissions how they should be. Just some thoughts.

Thanks, I got it fixed. I had the directory copied back correctly but my link was messed up.
