They are good articles but to try and do these as one install kinda gets confusing. They each show different modules being installed, so for the newbie apache/php installer, it gets a little confusing. I have enough experience installing these in the past so I understand whats going on. But for the newbie, do you think they should stick to the PHP article to install apache and php?

keep in mind those are written for linux.. you kinda have to tailor them to bsd logic.. apache/php/mysql actually were a complete bitch to chroot..

probbibly best doing a jail.. those are easy and fun..

i've actually got one written up.. not going to post it yet though :)

was going to use it for whenever i finish coding this stupid project..

From what I am reading, jails require setting up a 2nd NIC and a separate IP. So everything running within the jail stays in jail? Is this the correct reasoning?

You can also create an IP alias on your nic. You don't need two seperate ones.
