Anyone else having trouble building ports recently in 5.1? I've tried current and stable ports, some build, some don't and I get errors like:

vindicator# make
===> Building for nessus-plugins-2.0.7
cd plugins && ./make_world
cd: can't cd to plugins
*** Error code 2

I have had problems with Nessus 2 but generally have been doing good on my system otherwise. I noticed that I had a little trouble with it in the beginning until I started getting the prereqs done manually first. I'm assuming that this is an established install and not fairly new, right?

A freebsd developer was telling me that the ports are all current and that there isn't really a stable ports tree on FreeBSD. You can get the snapshot of a particular day by using CVS but it's still just the current ports of that day.

I was correcting some other developers in a chat a while back about the differences in slices and partitions so maybe my info was wrong about ports too. Time to go digging so it would seem. :)
