Hi guys. I wanted to know is OSX is free to download?? I think the name would be Mac OSX. Or would i have to pay for it?? I don't have any type of credit card to pay for it so i can't. Please reply back. Thanks guys.

OS X is a commercial product which means you have to buy it. It also only runs on Apple Hardware which you also have to purchase.
There is OpenDarwin which is available freely on the internet.

I did a search for step by step instructions on how to install OpenDarwin but i could not find any. Right now i'm downloading OpenDarwin with a download manager with a 56k modem. The download manager lets me leaves off from where i left off so i don't get cut off. Could someone help me get step by step instructions on how to install OpenDarwin 6.6.2 x86?? Please reply back. Thanks guys.
