I'm wanting to patch my OpenBSD 3.3 sparc but do not have enough space on my 2GB HDD. I'm not in the position to buy another HDD at the moment but was wondering if I could maybe put the source on an NFS share and mount it on the OBSD box. Has anyone ever done this or can you think of any reasons why this won't work? I won't be doing this for another week or so. Any thoughts/ideas?

no reason this wouldn't work AFAIK, just have /usr/src mount the NFS share.

Sure it's going to take a lot more time compared to local but in situations like this speed isn't the biggest factor.
I find myself using NFS more and more all the time because it make things so much more flexible.
