Lets chat about CVS

CVS. I'm playing around with this right now. It's very cool, but im still learning it. I just bought the CVS Pocket Reference book from O'Reilly.

Couple of quick questions really...

First is, I see there is CVS anon and CVSsup. Obviously CVS anon is for anonymous. Other then that, is there anything that is different between the two?

Also, besides updating your source tree, what other cool stuff can CVS do? I noticed that it can be used with X-Windows, to update the source?

Any other cool stuff or tricks that CVS is capable of?(Im sure there a ton.)

I use it to CVSsup to update the ports tree in FBSD. I think theres a decent how-to written in the ports tree on how to do that.
